An excellent luxurious hotel in Almaty! We visited in July/August 2024. We were a family of 4 adults and 2 children. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, the spa, and the beauty salon. We would like to thank the manager, Mr. Askhat, and his team for their helpfulness and hospitability. Pros: - Upscale hotel with spacious clean rooms. - Location is great near many restaurants, shops, and Dostyk Plaza. - The breakfast buffet is excellent with a wide variety of options from different cuisines (international, Indian, Japanese, ...). - The gym is well equipped for both cardio and strength training. There's a scale in the gym room, a water cooler, a disinfectant, a hand sanitizer, and towels (including cold towels in a little fridge). They also offer personal training sessions. - The swimming pool is indoor with changing rooms next to it. - The staff and the manager (Mr. Askhat) were friendly and took good care of us when we asked for room upgrade. - The room service menu was good. - They have a concierge service to answer your questions about the city. They also partner with almaty-tours.com to help you book any tours in or around the city. - There lobby is huge and is very nice and quiet.

This was my 3rd or 4th stay in Rixos Almaty. I like the hotel, the set up, lobby, and services offered. The room was big (not as booked but ok), matras good, amenities plenty. Breakfast of good standard, with good service.

The breakfast is excellent - plenty of choice, very fresh, and a combination of different cuisines: European, Asian and local. All dishes are beautifully presented. Bed linen is very pleasant and comfortable. The bathtub is big enough for two people to enjoy. Bath condiments have a nice aroma. Park view rooms are very quiet and you hear no city noise. There is a smoking lounge in the lobby, which is great.

Room service fillet steak was excellent but let down twice with unavailable preferred rocket salad and/or soup. Quality varied from Friday night to Saturday night-Friday excellent subject to above, however Saturday soup like porridge and steak sauce poor-Other n that breakfast was guid and service pretty guid. You need a check list for house daily maintenance. Not one bedside or desk lamp light working - Not a big deal but with a little more attention could be excellent. Having said that the lamps were fixed immediately I reported their non function so thumbs up fae your lads there.

Staff in the hotel is amazing and very friendly and helpful. Beds very comfortable and bathrooms has rain shower and worm floors. Very centrally located, next to nice park, Starbucks and Grocery. Hammam treatment is very good and I would recommend.

Wonderful staff. Wonderful food. Excellent location. If staying in Almaty again I will definitely stay at the Rixos. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

we had a wonderful holiday with delicious breakfast . very nice climate control in rooms. very big and clean rooms. ( love the luggage storage area in your room which is before the bath and you feel like you have own changing room separate from the barroom ) fresh cold air mode is always available for a good sleep. We had a Massage for a 2 person and we both did enjoy it. Very and very polite and hospitable staff I guess we need to thank Management who trains them. thank you for your service

The building and facilities are magnificent. Rooms were spectacular, bedroom, sitting room, dining room two bathrooms all AC. Top quality furniture even a classic writing desk.
